Almerimar is a friendly place to live with a good mix of local and expat people more than wiling to help you enjoy your stay. The climate is excellent and very conducive to an outdoor way of life, especially in the summer when the beach comes to life during the day and the disco bars come to life throughout the night.

The marina is new and well designed, and as you meander you way around the three Dársena's you get plenty of opportunities to stop off in the many bars and restaurants and enjoy a cold beer or glass or wine, and remember the Tapas is included in the price here in Almerimar.

The beaches have been awarded the prestigious blue flag and the 27 hole golf course is of championship standard. If you fancy something a little more hectic during your stay then we are only an hour from the Sierra Nevada snow capped mountains or local activities include Diving, Sailing, Boat Trips, Fishing, Horse Riding, a Water Park (in Roquetas De Mar), Go Kart racing, Paint balling and just up the road in El Ejido is a large supermarket, shopping centre and cinema.

Alta Entinas

Alta Entinas is an attractive complex set within extensive grounds where guests can take advantage of the large outdoor swimming pool & sunbathing area, children's play area and even a jogging area.

Extensive tropical landscaped gardens and large tennis courts and children's play areas. It is also just a short walk to both the beach and the nature reserve and horse riding all close at hand.

The complex is located just 2 minutes walk away from one of the blue flag beaches, yachting marina and a host of bars, restaurants and shops.

There are to community pools to use in Porto Fino.

Right across the road is the top class golf course designed by Gary Player consisting of a 18 hole master course and a easier 9 hole classic course.

This is the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday or the golfer who wants to be close to the course.

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach has 3 main pools and 2 children's pools (open from 15th June to 15th September). There are landscaped gardens with fountains, palm trees and grassed areas, as well as 2 children's playgrounds. The 4 floodlit tennis and paddle courts, the gymnasium with Jacuzzi and Turkish bath and table tennis, together with the pools and snack bar ensure that everyone is catered for.

The complex has access to the lakeside beach from the main pool area and is only 200m from the long wide natural Blue Flag beach, alongside which runs a fully lit, landscaped promenade with cycle path that extends all along the beach to the marina.

Lago de Almerimar
